Southern Bride Magazine location shoot, Pawleys Island SC. It’s hard to say what has been my favorite shoot with Southern Bride over the past 10 years, but this shoot near Charleston SC goes way up on the list. The magic that happens on a shoot is part of what inspires me, and the models on this shoot were simply a joy to photograph. And I’ve wanted to shoot a VW bug for a few years, so I can mark that off the bucket list. Shooting in the rain for a full day was challenging, but besides getting wet, the results were just amazing. Working with a great team is also a joy, we work 14 hour days, but we laugh and play all day long! I forgot to mention the amazing fashion designers, we get dresses flown in from around the globe, most of our shoots include at least 35 of the most incredible gowns in the world.
